French Pate de Verre Lights
Pate de Verre is a french term for glass paste, it involves creating a paste from powdered glass and colouring agents which then gets placed into a mould in a furnace to melt the glass creating a beautiful ombre effect on the glass. Produced predominantly in the area of Nancy, France by such craftsman as Galle, Daum, Muller Freres, and Schneider. The glass is often quite daring in its use of colour. All of our lights come fully re-wired to current standards and come complete with a suitable ceiling fitting.
