
Julian(far left) – Julian founded Exeter Antique Lighting over 30 years ago, since then he has built up an incredible varied range of stock and has an invaluable knowledge of the antique world and everything lighting! Julian originally started with jewellery and stained glass and has translated the skills learnt into repairing and restoring antique light fittings, the passion Julian has for the antique lighting world is second to none. Julian is usually found scouring antiques fairs and markets both in the UK and abroad, or in his workshop on The Quay working on his latest project! if he’s not there he will be playing double bass in the legendary rockabilly band Delta 88! Charlie(far right)– Charlie has been working alongside Julian for a number of years now on our bespoke lighting projects, such as the ones in the pictures below. Charlie has a background in both metal and woodwork, combined with Julian they make an awesome team.



Mike (2nd from the right)– Mike has worked at Exeter Antique Lighting for over 20 years now, he’s gained an excellent knowledge of all things lighting. Mike is based in our showroom; he helps with the restoration work of the lights.
Ria (2nd from the left)– Me! I’ve worked on and off at Exeter Antique Lighting since University and have now gone full time. I cover all the social media accounts, the actual accounts, acting as a PA for Julian and I also help with restoring the lights. My role is super varied and I often work between the workshop and showroom throughout the week.
