Have your lights been re-wired?
Yes – we restore and re-wire all our light to meet current standards.

Can I have different glass lampshades?
Yes – we can change glass shades and are happy to supply pictures with options to suit your needs.

Do the lights come with a ceiling fitting?
Yes – all our lights come complete with a ceiling fitting and are ready to hang.

Can you lengthen/shorten the light?
Each light is an individual piece. They can often be shortened/lengthened -please contact us with your requirements.

Will I have to clean/polish the light after a period of time?
No – all our lights have been sealed and lacquered, as they were when they were made a century ago. You can’t see the lacquer, it just stops the metalwork tarnishing. Occasionally there may be a need for a light not to be lacquered and we can accommodate this if required.

Why purchase an antique light as opposed to a modern one?
All our lights are genuine antiques and have been sourced for their quality and style. Each light is an individual piece and can enhance any room. Many of the lights will blend equally well in a modern or traditional setting.
